  ONE DAY TREK TO KARNALA FORT ON 26TH NOVEMBER 2017


Little Brief of the Fort : 

Height       : 4140 ft 

Grade N    : Easy 

Region      : Panvel 


Precaution : beehives are often seen on the pinnacle and honey bee’s, if disturbed, can be troublesome.

This is a very small fort , which probably was build to keep a watch on surrounding konkan region. It’s is a peculiar thumb shape pinnacle for attractions of all. Fort has 2-3 Darwaja (gates) in a good conditions and bastion as well. Fortification is in good conditions in some part of the fort.

08:30 am : Panvel Station, Introduction Round & Have Breakfast

09:00 am : Move to Base Village (Karnala) by Private vehicles/ Bus.

09:30 am : Start Trek 

11: 30 am : Reach on Top & Rest, Explore Fort, Lunch time.

01: 30 pm : Start Descending 

03: 30 pm : Base Villages & Tea time

04: 00 pm : Move to Panvel 

04:30 pm : Reach Panvel


The cost of the trek will be Rs. 500/- per head

Good trekking shoes,

A haversack to put in all the things to be carried.

Please avoid wearing GOLD and other ornaments.


Rules and Regulations:

1. Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.

2. Sleeveless, low neck, figure hugging shirts/skirts/tops, short pants, hot pants not allowed.

3. Please avoid wearing gold and other jewellery (at own risk).


Cancellation and Refund:

1. If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.

2. If done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded

3. After that no refund will be provided.
